I'm a leadership and personal development coach and business consultant who spent 20 years serving the nonprofit sector. I opened my practice, Lucidity Coaching, LLC, after relocating to Palm Springs, CA with my husband in 2014.
Prior to living in Palm Springs, I was employed by AIDS United, a philanthropic and policy organization based in Washington, DC, as its Grants Compliance Officer. I was hired to develop and refine tools to monitor and strengthen organizational and financial compliance for AIDS United grantees receiving funding through its federal programs.
Previously, I served at HealthHIV as Senior Capacity Building Manager and Program Manager for the AIDS Education and Training Centers National Center for HIV Care in Minority Communities. In this role, I focused on organizational development and fiscal management principles for community health centers serving people living with HIV.
I was Executive Director of the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses, Inc. (GALA) in Washington, DC, where my efforts focused on raising the profile of gay, lesbian, and allied choruses in the US and abroad. Prior to living in Washington, DC, I was CEO of AIDS Resources of Rural Texas (ARRT), which served 26 contiguous rural counties in North and West Texas. My first job in the nonprofit sector was as Events Coordinator for AIDS Outreach Center in Fort Worth, TX.
I was chosen by the nonprofit sector because of my commitment to mission and vision, and served in the fields of public health, education, and arts during my 20-year tenure. I hold a Professional Certified Coach credential issued by the International Coaching Federation.
