I also coach new mid-level managers who have recently transitioned into a leadership role helping them with human resource issues, communication challenges, financial matters, etc.
Another group I work with is young leaders who are “high performers” within their respective organizations who need to hone the core management skills relating to people management, time management, communication, delegation, creativity, operational efficiency, quality improvement, etc.
Working on my own as an independent coach affords me the opportunity to offer consistent and open lines of communication directly with my clients. I can also manage my schedule to ensure adequate availability and can tailor my services to meet the specific needs of my clients. Also, having served as the CEO of multiple complex organizations I have an acute understanding of the dynamic nature of the industry and the challenges that can surface in the lives of leaders regardless of their level within the organization.
I have over 40 years of leadership experience in the healthcare industry. I have served as the CEO of numerous acute care hospitals and have had exposure to both free standing and system based hospitals. Based on my broad experience, I am comfortable working with clients in every facet of leadership and have found that my healthcare experience translates well into other businesses.
