Kerstin’s Philosophy:

Kerstin’s personal philosophy is that with a curious open mindset and life perspective all human beings can aspire to flourish, be successful, and happy in their live. She is passionate about positive psychology and imparting scientific tools and techniques that enable people to get unstuck and shift their thinking and behavior.

Kerstin is very much a people’s person. She is an unashamed optimist with an open, intuitive and gentle manner. This allows for the process of building the bridge to personal and/or professional success to be a comfortable, natural and enjoyable one. Her ability to be assertive in a calm way makes for an even-handed and open-minded experience.

Kerstin is an ever-avid student by nature, and continuously strives to grow and develop her multiple skills and knowledge. One of her current professional aspirations, which she is currently working towards, is to obtain her PhD in Applied Leadership.

Besides personal coaching and mentoring Kerstin supports business owners, leaders, teams and individuals to flourish in their personal and professional lives. Enabling people to thrive whilst being happy at the workplace and assisting companies to create the space for employees to be fulfilled. As an ICF Global accredited PCC Coach Kerstin specializes in assisting executives and leaders to lead with courage, confidence and ethics. Balancing the diverse scales of peak performance and productivity with happiness and well-being and that for the both the leader as well as the team.

Background and Qualifications:

Kerstin’s many years within corporate environments gives her the ability to identify the ‘fool’s gold’ chased by so many. This assists her to support people in recognising the real opportunities that they may be blind to.

She is a certified Inner Life Skills Coach (2009) and completed an internationally recognised Life Coaching Diploma with the Life Coaching Institute in the United Kingdom (2010). Furthermore, she holds a Global accreditation as a Happiness @ Work Facilitator. Kerstin is part of a select Master Group, and was responsible for implementing and actively endorsing the Science of Happiness @ Work in South Africa. And if that isn’t enough Kerstin is an ICF Global internationally accredited PCC coach (2017) and she has been rigorously trained on the core competencies of coaching through a USA coach–training school (Fast Tack 2012).

Kerstin is a member of the International Coach Federation and the ICF Gauteng Chapter all networks for independent and qualified coaches. In addition, in 2012 she was the Executive Portfolio Member of the ICF Gauteng Chapter, actively sharing ideas and growing the coaching profession throughout Gauteng.

Kerstin has a Master’s Degree in Applied Positive Psychology as well as B.Com Degree in Economics and Accounting.

She has 18 years of experience in the financial services sector, during which time she served as a corporate governance and risk director. Kerstin has a strong background in corporate business, hands-on leadership, management experience and in-depth financial understanding. Kerstin has a good understanding of the challenges that members of middle and executive management are confronted with in their professional, as well as personal lives. The intricate complexity of integrating work and family into a united, harmonious and fulfilling whole of life can be a challenging balance to obtain and maintain.
